As a part of our ongoing efforts towards reducing our fingerprint on the climate, we are tirelessly searching for ways to deliver best quality service at the lowest cost for the environment. Having been tied to the sea our whole lives, much of our livelihood depends on it. This proves a deep sense of gratitude and respect towards it; for that reason Mario rent aligned its business policies in a way that we give back to the sea what IT gave to us.
By purchasing a trip at Mario rent, you are directly contributing to the environment, as parts of our profits are donated to preserving the Adriatic sea. We have discarded the single-use plastic, therefore on our boats you will only find carton bottles/water keg**. We have digitalized our promotional material so you can simply scan a QR code instead of using pamphlets. We use only eco-friendly detergents to maintain our fleet. We have reduced the fuel consumption by driving at a cruise economic speed.
Although we are among the pioneers of an eco-friendly approach on the island, we admit there is much more to do. We intend to organize beach clean ups, further reduce gas emissions and, finally, switch to electric engines.
